


Main Objectives:
- Transferring a blended learning distance and tutoring self-learning tool based on ICTs to cater for the training of rural development agents.
- Adapting and validating the training tool and contents to the training needs of the 6 New Member States through pilot training experiences.
- Disseminating the results of the Project and promoting the exploitation of the training platform at national and European level, to promote its use and the building of networks focusing on the exchange of experiences and on the continuous improvement of the tool.
Outcomes:
- Identification of the training requirements of RDAs, in 6 New Member States.
- Updated Methodological and Pedagogical Guide for using the Practice tool.
- Review and development of Training Modules aimed at RDAs (4 Modules) on the Practice tool.
- Practice Tool: updated on-line self-training and tutoring system built upon open source software under GNU license, tested by 30 target groups.
- PracticeNet: a European digital community of target groups and final beneficiaries aimed at the exploitation and ongoing improvement of Practice tool on a cooperative environment.
The project seeks to transfer an innovative self-learning solution (mixed tutoring and distance self-learning model, a FADERTIC tool) meeting the training needs of the sector of Rural Development Agents at European level. The training shall focus mainly on the competences required for these agents to implement local development strategies under the European LEADER strategy
Expected results

A diagnosis report on the training needs of RDAs in the context of 6 new member states of the EU: the report shall be the result of the analysis of the competence profile of rural development agents, elaborated via in-depth interviews and surveys based on the Fadertic questionnaire applied to identify the competence profile of agents at regional level. The survey shall also include a study of the training offer and demand regarding these professionals in each country.

A methodological and pedagogical guide for using the “PRACTICE” tutoring and distance training tool, consisting of two guides: tutor’s manual (including the training objectives and pathways) and a trainee’s manual.

Modular training contents catering for the training of rural development agents for using the practice tool.

PRACTICE tool: distance tutoring and self-learning system,based on the adaptation of the FADERTIC tool.

PRACTICENET digital community: organized by the partners and other target groups in order to disseminate the results of the project and promote the use of PRACTICE tool
